Creating Product Feed in Magento made easy. A product feed is a file with data about all your store products, which you upload to comparison shopping engines like Google Product Search, Nextag, Amazon.com, etc. Customers often refer to the comparison shopping engines, so it is crucial to make products appear in the search results.

You can either generate feeds manually at any time or set a schedule for feed generation e.g. daily, weekly, monthly.

FTP upload and direct download available.

It is possible to both upload the generated feeds to an ftp account and to manually download from Magento admin panel. For FTP you can specify the necessary access credentials and choose whether to use passive or active mode.

Advanced configuration options for each column in a feed. Feel free to:

  • Specify header for each field, which can be optionally included in the feed.
  • Select output type - product attribute, custom field or plain text.
  • Set the order of fields in the feed.
  • Choose format - price, lowercase, date, html escape, leave 'as is', etc.
  • Limit the number of character for the column value.
  • Provide default image, when a product has no image.
  • Use url of parent configurable product for associated products.
