Simple META Management The Simple META Management Suite is a very simple but extremely powerful Joomla 1.5 component and plugin that gives administrators of a Joomla 1.5.x website the ability to manage all of their META information in one easy to use interface. As much as the built-in Joomla META information serves to cover the basic META tags, the interface is clunky and hard to manage for non-content pages. The Simple META Management Suite gives the administrator the ability to add/change/remove META information on a per-URL basis. The Simple META Management Suite also includes the ability to add the Google sitemaps and analytics code into your content. Easy to use eg. Install the component & plugin, enable the management modules and your site META can be changed. Change basic META tags: Title, Description & Keywords. Change author/copyright META tags. Change advanced META tags: Robots, Language, Content-Type & Icon. Change feed related tags: RSS Feeds & Atom Feeds. Include the Google Sitemaps Verification META tag. Add the Google Analytics JavaScript to your website. Remove unwanted META tags. XHTML Compliant. Installation: While logged into the administration backend of Joomla, install the Simple META Management component (com_aqsgmeta) first. You can find the installer in the administration menu under "Extensions->Install/Uninstall" Whilst still in the administration backend of Joomla, install the Simple META Management plugin (plg_aqsgmeta) next. You can find the installer in the administration menu under "Extensions->Install/Uninstall" Enable the Simple META Management plugin You can find the Plugin Manager in the administration menu under "Extensions->Plugin Manager" Enable the Simple META Management modules in the component parameters You can find the module settings in the main component under "Components->Simple META Management->Main Page". In the top right corner you will see a "Parameters" icon. Visit your website frontend and navigate through a few of the pages. This loads the URLs and their META information into the database. Return to the administration backend and view the list of collected URLs. You can find the URLs listed in the mainomponent under "Components->Simple META Management->Main Page".
